Who we are

Our Track Record ("we", "us", "our") is a music gifting platform that lets you create personalised, password-protected album experiences for the people you care about. Our website is ourtrackrecord.com.

What information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Your name and email address when you create an account
• Your Google account details if you sign up via Google Authentication
• Voice recordings you create within the app (voice intros attached to tracks)
• Album content you create, including titles, dedications, and track selections
• Passwords you set for your albums (note: we do not store recipient passwords in plain text)
• Payment information processed via Stripe (we never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles this entirely)

Information we collect automatically

• Basic usage data such as pages visited and features used
• Your browser type and device type
• IP address

How we use your information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide the Our Track Record service — creating, storing, and sharing your albums
• Process payments securely via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)
• Improve the product based on how it is used

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. Ever.

Voice recordings

Voice intros are central to Our Track Record. Here is how we handle them:

• Your voice recordings are stored securely and used only to deliver your album to the recipient you choose
• Voice recordings are accessible only via the unique, password-protected album link you generate
• No voice recording is ever made public, indexed, or shared with any third party
• You can delete your albums (and their associated voice recordings) at any time from your dashboard

YouTube

Our Track Record allows you to import tracks and playlists from YouTube. We do not store YouTube video files. We use publicly available YouTube data (track titles, artwork, and duration) to populate your album. Your use of YouTube content through our platform is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.

Payments — Stripe

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you purchase an upgrade, you are submitting your payment details directly to Stripe's secure servers. We receive confirmation that a payment was made and your subscription status — nothing more. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Sharing your data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Stripe — to process your payments
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider, used to store your account and album data securely
• Legal requirements — if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request

Album recipients

When you share an album link and password with a recipient, that recipient can access the album without creating an account. We collect only their IP address (for security logging) and the fact that the album was opened. We do not collect their name, email, or any personal information.

Data retention

We retain your account data and album content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to how we process your data

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you logged in and to process payments. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Our Track Record is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or with a notice on the site. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
